Soil Health - Train the Trainer - Marshfield, Wisconsin, 03/20/13
Participants in this introductory course will be the foundation for future instructional support for additional soil health education and field support for soil kit training.
A team of soil scientists and agronomists has developed an intermediate-level training focused on improving the awareness of and characterization of our current soil conditions through the use of soil health test kits.
This "Train-the-Trainer" course kicks off our healthy soils training series by familiarizing instructors in techniques for running simple in-field soil tests, field sampling protocols, interpreting test results and matching relevant practices that enhance soil quality. This is a two-day course and participants must register for both days separately.
