Sinkholes, Karst, and Groundwater Workshop
The St. Croix County Community Development Department and St. Croix County UW-Extension are hosting a Sinkholes, Karst, and Groundwater Workshop overviewing their influence on agriculture and the environment in St. Croix County.
The workshop, which will take place on Tuesday July 17th from 9:30AM to 4:00PM, will be held at the American Legion in Baldwin, Wisconsin. Registration begins at 9:00.
Producers and certified crop advisors are invited to attend and learn about the geology of northwestern Wisconsin and how this geology influences groundwater contamination risk. The workshop will also include a field visit to a local quarry with karst features common to the region.

Pre-registration is recommended. Cost is $10 per person with lunch included. A coach bus will be provided for the afternoon field tour.
