RUSLE 2 Soil Loss Module - In-Person - Appleton, Wisconsin, 01/18/07
Course Description:
This in-person course introduces the RUSLE 2 soil loss model, how it works, and the data necessary to run the program. The full-day version includes field training on shooting slopes and determining slope length. RUSLE2 is an advanced, user-friendly software model that predicts long-term, average-annual erosion by water. It runs under Windows, and can be used for a broad range of farming, conservation, mining, construction, and forestry sites. The RUSLE2 program is also used in on-farm energy auditing to determine energy usage of the crop rotation.
This course was formerly known as Understanding RUSLE 2 Soil Loss Module (In-Person) and was part of the CPRRI initiative.
