Grazing - Designing Pasture Facilities and Structures - Wausau, Wisconsin, 7/19/11
Course Description:
This two-day intermediate-level course provides participants with the necessary skills assist a landowner in designing and constructing the facilitating practices for the Managed Grazing Plan. Covered topics include: fence, watering systems, pipelines, troughs, animal trails and walkways, access roads, and stream crossings. Field training in fence building and lane construction will be provided onsite.
The Introductory Managed Grazing, also known as the Wisconsin Grazing School, is a prerequisite, or if the participant has equivalent experience.
