Conservation Planning Modules 6-8 (NRCS Part II) - Lincoln, NE 4/9/12

Course Description:

This course provides Technical Service Providers and conservation consultants with concentrated, intermediate-level field and classroom training on cropland and livestock operation. Participants will gain the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities to complete the three-phase, nine-step planning process and the tasks required as a NRCS certified conservation planner. This course, also known as NRCS Part II, will focus on conservation plan development and will advance the participant’s ability to produce the Conservation Plan tasks required when completing a CAP CNMP, including developing the plan, writing the plan, and using RUSLE2/WEPS for soil erosion prediction.
