Soil Management for the Small Acreage Farm

Visit Running Hills Farm to see their approach to soil management. Upper Midwest CRAFT farmers Tim and Betsy Pierce will share their strategies to build soil health using cover crops, silage tarps, tillage practices, and scale appropriate equipment to prepare their planting spaces. While their talk will focus on growers on small acreage (5-10 acres), all farmers are welcome.
