The benefits for Minnesota NRCS have been the access to quality educational professionals who are knowledgeable in adult learning strategies and who are leaders in their fields of study vs. having an agency staff person simply recite the content of generalized training materials.

Having Extension coordinate procurement of training space, handle registration and integrate meals into the session allows for more efficient training to occur.

Indiana NRCS is not able to train the private sector so we have needed Extension to help us extend our messages to the technical service providers.
