Native Grass/Forb/Shrub Production, Establishment and Maintenance

Course Description:

The training was initially described as follows: “Interested in learning more about native grass/forb/shrub establishment? For this training we will look first at a native seed nursery to brush up on plant identification and learn why the seed cost so much. Then it is to the field to discuss site evaluation, preparation, seeding, mixes, maintenance, equipment, and other topics suggested from the group”

We got rid of a few aspects of the training because of the location and time. Below is a DRAFT agenda for the day. The afternoon tours are still being solidified.
