CRP Mentoring - Logan, Utah, 12/31/12 (CRPRI)
After completing the CRPRI Core Curriculum course, participants have the option of working with an experienced CRP planner to develop their first independent CRP plan. Submitting a CRP plan to NRCS TechReg is one requirement of being certified as a CRP Planner in the system.
Upon registering for the Core Curriculum, participants' names and contact information will be provided to a mentor in their home state. When participants have completed the course, they should check in with their assigned mentor to begin the process of working together on a CRP plan. This plan may be one that the participant has received a contract from NRCS to complete, or it may be one for a piece of property with which the student is familiar, but which is not enrolled in CRP.
The mentoring program is only available to participants working in the 20-state CRPRI region:
AL, CO, GA, IA, IL, MD, MN, MS, MT, ND, NY, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, WA, WI, VA
